Christian Believer assumes that most church folk—though faithful followers of Jesus we intend to be—know little of the content of the central teaching of the Christian faith and its ties to Scripture. But we want to know! We want to know what is at stake in what the church teaches and how those teachings make a difference in our own lives, what it means to be Christian, and where we stand.
Christian Believer aims at addressing uncertainty about the substance of the Christian faith and the connection between believing and living.
This is a 30-week study with daily preparation and weekly two and one-half hour group sessions. It integrates Bible study and study of the basic beliefs of Christian faith. The class will begin with an orientation on Tuesday, September 14, 2010.

The Gospel of John - Short Term Disciple Bible Study
Please join Carol Hamric on January 12th, 2010 at 9:30 am for a short-term Disciple Bible Study on the Gospel of John that lasts eleven weeks. The orientation session will be January 12th, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. in the Christian Education Building. The eleven sessions continue weekly from January 19th, 2010 through March 30th. Parenting: The Early Years
A new Bible Study, "Parenting: The Early Years" will be offered on Wednesday nights, beginning in September 2010. What kind of parent do you want to be? Who you are matters more than what you do. When your kids grow up, how will they remember you? In six sessions, Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott will take you through a parenting approach, with ten Biblical traits your kids will remember you for.
