Children's Ministry
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these". Here at First Methodist we take great care to help nurture a relationship with Jesus Christ and our children. We believe it is the responsibility of the entire congregation to support, teach and guide the children of First Methodist into the way that leads to life eternal. Every week we have multiple activities for the children of our church. Below is a listing of what takes place here each week. To learn even more contact Director of Children's Ministry.
Explorations In Antiquity Center Trip The children got to go to the Exploration In Antiquity Center in LaGrange. While there, they learned how the Ancient Israelites lived. The child got to make Bedouin bread, and see a goat hair tent that the shepherds lived in. They saw how the Israelites made wine, and olive oil. They were also able to see a four room Israelite house, and ancient tombs. CLICK TO SEE PICTURES!
