Advent Devotional, back by popular demand!  Peggy Christian will be compiling a "Church Created" Advent Devotional beginning in September.  This will be an exciting devotional booklet that everyone will cherish.  It will contain children's artwork, children's stories and responses about Christmas, twenty-two devotions written by members of our church, and cherished Christmas memories from our own congregation.

I.  Please consider writing a devotional for our church’s Advent Devotional. Please include a scripture (include Book, verse, and write out the scripture), a reflection, and a prayer at the end of your devotional.  In your reflection, tell how Jesus Christ is present in your life.  How has He blessed you, or taught you, or where is He leading you.  Thank you for giving of yourself to bless others.  I prefer emailing this to me if possible at pegchris16@bellsouth.net

II.  Please write about your favorite memory or family tradition at Christmas.  These special times are dear to each of us and will bring back cherished times for each of us.  Thank you for sharing your memories with all of us.  You can write about it here or on note paper and give it to Peggy Christian by the deadline – Sunday, October 31, 2010.  Or you may email it to Peggy pegchris16@bellsouth.net
